This book is a well constructed colorful lift the flap book。 It is a big book in size。 It teaches alphabet, numbers, etc。 The flaps are fairly sturdy but very little ones may tear them。This is a perfect gift for a child who loves Elmo。 The child I gave it to was so excited to receive it, her eyes lit up and she reads it all the time。

oh, fiona, and your endless love for elmo。 when will it ever end?of all our elmo books - and we have a ton - this one is my favorite。 it's less about "reading" and more about looking。 there are cute sections based on numbers, alphabet, shapes, colors, etc。 fiona has a particular fondness for the trapezoids and ovals, and the number page is so well-loved that several doors and windows are missing their "doors"。my only real complaint, in fact, is that the book is not particularly sturdy。 we defini oh, fiona, and your endless love for elmo。 when will it ever end?of all our elmo books - and we have a ton - this one is my favorite。 it's less about "reading" and more about looking。 there are cute sections based on numbers, alphabet, shapes, colors, etc。 fiona has a particular fondness for the trapezoids and ovals, and the number page is so well-loved that several doors and windows are missing their "doors"。my only real complaint, in fact, is that the book is not particularly sturdy。 we definitely lost the first flap during our first reading。what can i say? that fiona is an enthusiastic young reader。 。。。more

Run for your lives Elmo is on a rampage and ripping roofs off of houses, tops off cars and scalping the local natives。

I picked this book up to pacify my toddler while shopping at a BJ's wholesale club。 It was my intention to just borrow it for the duration of the shopping trip, but by the time we were ready to check out, I knew it needed to be a permanent addition to our library。 It has been invaluable for keeping her occupied and entertained in situations where I need her to be still and quiet (grocery cart, airplane, car, doctor's office, etc)Our most recent use of this book is to keep her happy while sitting I picked this book up to pacify my toddler while shopping at a BJ's wholesale club。 It was my intention to just borrow it for the duration of the shopping trip, but by the time we were ready to check out, I knew it needed to be a permanent addition to our library。 It has been invaluable for keeping her occupied and entertained in situations where I need her to be still and quiet (grocery cart, airplane, car, doctor's office, etc)Our most recent use of this book is to keep her happy while sitting on the potty now that we're out of diapers - it's been fabulous! 。。。more

This book is one of my son's favorites! Although there doesn't look like there's much to it, it does a great job helping toddlers preschoolers learn numbers, shapes, colors, and opposites。 My son tore some of the flaps off years ago, but I don't dare take this one away from my four-year-old。。。he still loves it! There's no plot; each page teaches a different concept: shapes, letters, opposites, etc。 There are numerous flaps to lift for busy hands。 Both of my kids have gotten much use out of this one。 There's no plot; each page teaches a different concept: shapes, letters, opposites, etc。 There are numerous flaps to lift for busy hands。 Both of my kids have gotten much use out of this one。 。。。more
